Hunters Hair Specialists has brought together a team of creative, passionate employees committed to the industry and their continued education.
Jill started her hairdressing journey in 2001 where she trained at the Toni and Guy academy on London's Tottenham Court road. Throughout her career she has been fortunate enough to work along side award winning fellow hairdressers at London fashion week. The highlight of her career so far was being selected to be part of the Eufora editorial team 2015 where she collaborated with other talented hairdressers and participated in creative photo shoots and runway hair shows in America. Jill opened Hunters Hair Specialists in 2009 with her guests in mind. She wanted to create a relaxing yet creative environment for clients to feel comfortable and looked after. The Hunters experience has been established to ensure that the highest levels of hairdressing standards are met.
Jill says "When I'm behind the chair it's all about my guest. I love to listen to their hair concerns and provide solutions. My favorite service in hairdressing is creating a bespoke colour based upon my guests needs. I will prescribe them a hair journey plan so that their style is always evolving."
Aimee will be your first point of call when you arrive, she operates front of house and ensures that everything is running smoothly for you as clients and us as a team.
Aimee has travelled all over and when possible will be found soaking up the sun. She joins us after returning from Monaco where she was a recruitment agent for the superyacht industry.
Aimee says "I love meeting new people and my passion is fantastic customer service. The little details matter and I want everyone to leave feeling like they've had a great experience."
Rosie began her hairdressing career in 2003. As a newly qualified stylist she took herself off to Newquay to perfect her craft whilst enjoying the surf.
As an experienced stylist with 15 years under her belt, Rosie is confident in all aspects of hairdressing. As a stylist and former salon manager she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Hunters team.
Rosie says “ I love to take my guests out of their comfort zone and get them to try new things. I’m a chatterbox and really take pride in getting to know my guests. I believe each and every client I see deserves the red carpet treatment!”
Sam began her journey here at Hunters Hair specialists in 2014 as an apprentice. She has completed all her in house training and is now a fully qualified NVQ3 stylist. Sam loves what she does and enjoys making people look great and feel confident.
In her spare time Sam can be found in the gym or out enjoying a glass of wine with friends.
Sam says "I especially love getting creative with a big change, whether it's a colour transformation or a restyle"
Leanne started her career in hairdressing in 2004 and has been with Hunters since the very start. She is NVQ3 qualified and has been lucky enough to further her education and skills by completing various cutting and colour courses. In March 2017 & 2019, along with the rest of the team she travelled to Italy to participate in the Sensus masterclass, learning new techniques to bring back to her loyal clientele. She has also completed her assessors award which allows her to train up and coming young professionals!
Leanne says "I'm happiest when clients have a problem that needs solving. I love being able to help by fulfilling their hair needs with the correct style, colour and home care advice."
Leah has been with Hunters since 2017 and has passed her NVQ2 hairdressing with us. She is now on the salon floor and loves being able to transform client’s hair, whether it’s with a cut or colour. Leah has continued to expand her colour knowledge by attending the Sensus master colour course in Tuscany annually since she has been with us here at Hunters.
Leah says "I really enjoy meeting new clients as well as seeing my regular clients, helping to make them feel fantastic after every visit."
Becky started her hairdressing career in 2014, completing her NVQ2 at the Lee Stafford Academy. She then continued her qualifications here at Hunters, completing her NVQ3 in the salon. Becky then worked in a bustling Brentwood salon and returned to us in 2018. She regularly attends courses, being very enthusiastic to keep up to date with all emerging hair trends. She attended the Sensus Master Colour Course in Tuscany in 2018 & 2019.
She says “Hairdressing enables me to make people feel beautiful on a daily basis, I particularly enjoy a challenging colour correction or transformation.”
Amber is currently undertaking her NVQ2 hairdressing qualification in the salon and loves progressing and developing her skills through hands on practical experience. Amber has a real passion for all things hair and beauty, having a particular eye for detail. We are excited to see her grow into a fully qualified young professional!
She says “I really love meeting new clients and learning new skills every day that I will be able to utilise and develop in the future.”
Lauren has been working in customer service from a very young age and is happy to be able to bring her skillset to our salon because of a personal love for hair and beauty! From 16 she progressed in customer orientated and marketing roles, completed a degree in criminology and then travelled the world managing customer service based projects. She is an avid encourager of sustainable living and so our recycling policy, vegan products and eco-friendly business strategies suit her passions perfectly. Newly returned to the UK, she is the first face you’ll see you come in!
She says “working with clients on a daily basis is what makes my job so enjoyable – watching them walk out of our salon feeling gorgeously confident puts a smile on my face every day.”
